What is PR? It is exactly as it sounds; a group of recovering addicts who inform the public in a variety of ways about recovery from addiction through the 12 steps and 12 traditions of NA.

Why does it exist? The purpose of a PR subcommittee is to maintain communications between NA and the public. We let the public know NA exists and offers recovery from the disease of addiction. We do this through attraction and not promotion.

How do I get involved? Any addict may join PR. There is no cleantime requirement to attend our meetings.

Ways to get involved: The phoneline, you must have 1 year cleantime a phone and answering machine. You also must attend 1 helpline workshop. You will recieve calls from people interested in our fellowship, either addicts or others interested in NA. Also, we carry presentations to schools and other copmmunity organizations. 90 days clean is required to speak at these engagements.
